Not exactly the same and as you say, doesn't say 'RealTek' on it anywhere but definitely along the same lines as the link. AC97 audio was superceded by High Definition Audio (also called HD audio) in 2004. From the pictures on HP's website, it looks like the Sound Effect Manager doesn't say "RealTek" on it anywhere.
