If you can't see it you should remove and inspect the card. Any thoughts?

I got a compressed air bottle and sprayed to vents. But yeh, any other ideas on what it could be, if it isn't the video card. like RAM 1 then turn on, if PC boots fine then insert RAM 2 and start the PC again then so on... It froze again anywhere from 30min-1hr.This is starting to confuse me because at the log-in screen I wouldn't think I would be putting a big load on my computer. Check the fan on your video card, make sure it isn't dirty. Yep, I am totally new around here and, although I am not a n00b to the internet etc. EDIT: Have you taken the side cover off, this might help you hear exactly where the sound is coming from. You say it might be a software problem, lets find out using a clean boot.
